Katie Agresta: Inside the Light
Hear and Feel the Difference "Inside the Light" is an album of chants as given by Yogi Bhajan, of Sadhana meditations for the Aquarian age. Katie Agresta, a Reiki Master, has the voice of an angel. And the music was created by the very same angel. Together "Inside the Light" is beautiful, relaxing and every so uplifting.
Each of the six tracks is a Sanskrit chant dedicated to spiritual betterment. From beginning to end, your soul is strengthened and your mind is calmed. Track one is dedicated to "all that is creative through time", while track two translates to "One Creator". Track five honors the "Great beyond" and is a description of "This Wisdom".
However, what makes "Inside the Light" a standout is Katie Agresta. Her voice is magical, loving and blessed with the ability to emanate from her heart, displacing frenzy with serenity. Credit must also be given to the fine musicians who provided the background with keyboard, synthesizer, electric guitar, classical guitar and bass.
It has been said that the mark of truly great music is its' ability to genuinely move the listener. The music and vocals of "Inside the Light" by Katie Agresta do just that and much, much more. This reviewer was transported to a place of peace and harmony by Katie's angelic voice. For an album that will bring you upliftment, I strongly recommend "Inside the Light".
